Les Arcs, high above the Tarentaise valley, is the descriptive name for three superb ski resorts at the ascending heights of 1600m, 1800m and 2000m.
Our chalets are all situated in Arc 2000 – the best and the highest of the three – at the foot of the Aiguille Rouge, in a secluded snow-sure bowl.
Arc 2000 offers sensational skiing, with unparalleled views of Mont Blanc and its surrounding peaks, and the new link with La Plagne means there are 420kms of wonderful pistes on the ‘Paradiski’ lift pass, making this the current ‘hottest’ ticket in French skiing!
The ski area of Les Arcs and its connected villages of Vallandry and Peisey Nancroix include some of the smoothest and longest runs in the French Alps, as well as some of the most exciting. Whatever your ski ability, whether you are chasing a speed record, enjoy motorway cruising and pretty tree-lined runs or want to learn on gentle, sunny nursery slopes, Les Arcs has something to offer everyone.
This is a fantastic area for intermediates, especially mixed ability groups, as many of the lifts offer alternative routes, so easier or more challenging runs can be selected. Skiing in the trees down to Peisey Nancroix is delightful and it is worth exploring this under-used area for its well groomed, quieter slopes.
