We don’t make false or misleading claims about our “green credentials”. Suffice to say that, like most British people these days, we have a real concern for the planet and do our utmost to conserve resources. We also actively seek out and promote suppliers and operators who have an active “green policy” and we are passionate about wildlife.
However we have to face the fact that we are in the business of sending people on “non-essential journeys” even though air travel is actually responsible for less than 2% of the UK’s carbon emissions. But we strongly believe that travel does broaden the mind and that tourism helps relieve poverty, promotes understanding, establishes communication and is essential for wildlife conservation.
